Bitty
Bouncers (SUMMER ONLY) A
perfect "first class" to introduce diving skills in a fun
and SAFE water-free environment. Daily use of trampoline,
tumbling mats, and dry-board will help build important motor skills
essential for diving and all sports. Taught with enthusiasm
and praise, this fun and exciting class will teach boys and girls
how to control their bodies and develop the coordination, strength
and confidence necessary for learning to dive.
Lessons
One hour lessons , Monday - Friday at 4PM. Introduction to the sport
of diving, teaching the beginning skills, diving awareness, body
control and basic stretching. You can sign up for 2, 3 or 4 days per
week.
Novice
A beginning competitive diving
program. Novice divers will train with the goal of competing in U.S.
Diving Novice meets and local age group meets. Training will
include stretching, dry-land exercises, trampoline skills and, of
course, diving. This group is expected to compete. You can choose
from 2 or 3 days per week. Lessons will be 1 1/2 - 2 hours in
duration depending on skill level.
Junior Olympic (JO)
A program offering five
3hr coaching sessions per week (M-F) to divers who, within a defined
age group, can perform JO dives as required by the US Diving and AAU
National Organizations. Training will include stretching & strengthening ,
dry-land exercises, trampoline skills and diving.
Senior & Masters
Senior and Masters team
members will set their own training and meet schedules. They will
work with the coaching staff to develop training standards that will
help them meet their performance goals.
